Anastasia Beverly Hills Catwalk Palette Swatches

I've wanted a palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills since I tried a sample eye shadow palette card. I've had a hard time finding the palettes in stores around here so I didn't get the one I had a sample of. I did find the Ulta exclusive* Catwalk palette, though. It's $29 for 10 eye shadows and a dual-ended brush.

Most of the shadows are really nice and soft. I would say the exceptions are LBD, Day Rate, and Pose... but even those aren't bad. It's another nude palette with mostly shimmer shades, but a few mattes as well.

This was kind of weird. All of the palettes in the store had the palette and booklet upside down. I had to open it to make sure it hadn't been touched. It didn't look like it had, but even now I'm nervous about it. That's a big problem at Ulta (at least here) on their prestige side.. and the stuff is too expensive to accept someone else having stuck their fingers in it.

The shadows have names listed on the back of the box, but do not have them inside the palette unless it was missing a plastic cover that had them.

The booklet included has four different makeup looks.

Call Back, Strut, Scout, Beauty Mark, LBD

Day Rate, Couture, RTW, 10k, Pose
I swear Day Rate is there. It's just a slightly pinker version of my skin color.
